Café owner Jacqueline Rothe, known for her worldwide pool noodle corona campaign, sings the song “I Love Noodles – The Pool Noodle Hat Song” with her band 7deLux. 200 million people worldwide achieved this action through many news channels worldwide and the photo went around the world.
The Germans have a sense of humor. As you can see in the band’s video, an idea becomes hype.
Social Distancing the COMFY® way
Difficult times require inventive solutions. So on the reopening day of the Café Rothe in Schwerin, COMFY Poolnoodle headgears were used as spacers instead of floor markings or Plexiglas screens. Thanks to the alignment of the noodles, these unusual hats playfully ensured that the minimum distance of 1.50 m between two customers was always maintained. This one-off action was a pleasant break from the otherwise sterile and rules-ridden daily routine.
